Options to Add Instructor Information
- Add an unpublished module at top. Add a page with instructions. Submit a help desk ticket Links to an external site. if you would like a template added to your course.
- Add text headers throughout the modules with key information.
- A combination of both options 1 & 2.
Suggestions of What to Include
What you MUST change:
- Syllabus – all the green highlights are specific to the section or instructor of record
- Course home page
- Make sure the section information is correct
- Make sure the Academic Integrity Quiz is correctly linked
- Add a personalized welcome message or welcome video
- Dates
- Make sure the Academic Integrity Quiz has the correct census date!!
- Add (or verify) due dates to each assignment
- For all the weekly attendance activities, make sure the “until” date is set to the end of the week
- For all pages with reading assignments, check the box to add to the student to do and assign a date
- Set the Lock Until date (or other course controls) for each module
- Textbook/3rd party content
- Connect the textbook/3rd party tool to the course – follow bookstore directions
- Import any 3rd party assignments to the correct module

Do you have more (or less) than 8 modules?
Most classes are designed around one module per week with all assignments due on one day per week. That's not a requirement for 8-week classes, but if you use a different course structure other than one module per week, please provide EXPLICIT directions to both the instructor of record and students.
